Believe it or not, it’s the guy on the right about to chomp down on a massive burger! Due to 15 years of experience and knowing the best solutions and processes to get things done, all your work is done with Alex! There are occasions where I bring in a specialist to help you, but you’ll always work with me!
YES! So you can have as many requests in your “queue” as you wish, we only work on one request at a time as it focuses you to get that things signed off and done before moving onto the next. We do however sometimes give you a quick call to discuss the order of your requests if we think you’d benefit from something being delivered first.
I was a full time designer, and it’s great but when I ran a studio in London finding good reliable talent is time consuming, expensive and sometime unpredictable. An annual subscription with Designflix. is around 30k and it covers most the needs of most requests. A designer at a mid-level for the year costs at a minimum 80k – that doesn’t count the hiring process, management of that person or cover of that person if they fall ill.
Also what happens to that employee when you’re quiet? you still pay them.
It really depends on what your request is, somethings can be simply done in a day but others need a bit longer. When you put in a request you get a response within 24hours to tell you the plan. I highlight any stumbling blocks with you and give you a prediction on when it’s delivered!
Also, got an emergency? it happens, in some cases I pick up the phone and get you sorted as quickly as I can!
Average deliverable is 2-3 days from acceptance of request.
Yes you can pause and it’s really the best feature way of doing things!
So how does it work?
So you you’ve paid for a month and you know you don’t have work for the next month ahead, drop me a message and your account gets paused. We need a 10 day notice before the pause to make sure your next payment doesn’t go through!
When you’re ready to start up again, you just pay for the next month at the same price you had before and start getting those requests in!
You can pause and start as many times as you wish! And the Pause function means you never waste a day!
NOTE: if you pause mid month – we take those days off the next months payment! For example you have 10 days left but no work – you pause, the next month you pay a full month – 10days.

Websites we build on wordpress and having 10+ years of experience with elementor and being part of their BETA testing phase we use that to build our sites for clients to easily manage going forward!
Design work we use Adobe Creative suite, Figma, and also Affinity editing suites. Depends on what we’re doing!
Requests and managing projects we use trello and MarkUp.io for making comments and giving feedback.
OF course you can, the pause function is great because it last up to a year, before your account is cancelled (we notify you don’t worry)
What happens when I cancel?
Well your life becomes less bright due to not having me in it, but apart from that not much! your account gets deactivated, you have the designs to use as you wish and the option to sign up again.
The difference to cancel and pause is your account has to be set up again, so you’ll lose the progress or requests you had before, and you don’t get the same price as you signed up with (if prices have changed)
When you sign up you receive a tutorial video on how to upload jobs to trello!
It’s super easy and you can upload what you want to trello, you can upload documents, pictures, looms, dropbox links you name it we’ll get it!
And if you have any issues it the matter of a simple email to hello@designflix.eu
So most designers give you a couple of rounds of amends, because you’re paying monthly you can literally keep going until you’re happy! Obviously it means you can’t move onto the next request (which is why we know you’ll make a decision at some stage)
What I believe is that most people don’t know what they want from the start, I’m never (sometimes) going to deliver you something that you think is perfect on go one! BUT you won’t know until you get something in front of you and your team.
The lesson I’ve learnt is aiming for perfection in round 1 is impossible, so I usually get some rough ideas over to you, that i know will need some tweaks and feedback and then get you close as I can to perfect the next round!
Short answer is no… and here’s why.
I know the level of work you receive is top notch, but also you have unlimited edits and amends and requests to get what you want.
You have the option to pause and cancel any time and are not tied into any lengthy contracts.
A freelancer or full time employee is a lot harder to cancel and get out of contract.
This doesn’t mean that if you have an issue with anything you can’t have a meeting with me to resolve it!
